As a member of the Class of 2027, you are required to complete Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates (SAPU), an online, science-based course, before you arrive on campus. SAPU provides detailed information about the importance of values and the aspects of healthy and unhealthy relationships. The training also discusses decisions regarding sexual activity and sexual assault. Whether you plan to engage in sexual activity or not, the goals of the course are to help you make well-informed decisions about consent, relationships and address the behavior of your peers.

The SAPU course takes 60 minutes to complete. You will need to complete the SAPU mandatory module by August 15. In mid-July you will receive detailed instructions via email and a reminder on MyDuke about beginning SAPU.
