Orientation Webinars

Parent and Family Orientation will consist of a series of webinars throughout July and August in order to engage families early in their transition process and provide accessible programming to reach families, regardless of whether they can travel to campus for move-in day.

Join us for the following orientation webinars. Registration is required for each session. Each webinar will be recorded and posted here 72 hours after it airs to our Families Website HERE.

Student Orientation Leaders cheer as first-year students and their family members arrive at Alspaugh Residence Hall on East Campus for move-in during Orientation Week.

Move-In Day & Family Farewell

We also welcome you to campus for Move-In Day on Saturday, August 19th. This important day in students’ collegiate journey is one cherished by families. After the act of moving your student in, there will be an opportunity for you to meet other families and Duke staff at our Family Farewell on Saturday evening.

Students will begin full-day orientation events on Sunday, August 20th. Accordingly, we ask families to plan their departure for this day so that we can orient your student to life at Duke.
